As part of WP1 activities, the US Team has organized the first FORECAST Living Lab in the municipality of Agareb (Sfax, Tunisia) on April 23rd, 2026. This dynamic event brought together national authorities, researchers, agronomic engineers, farmers, and university professors. Farmers from the Agareb region shared their valuable experiences with intercropping legumes in agroforestry systems. The program continued with field visits to participating farmers’ plots, allowing attendees to observe these innovative practices firsthand. It concluded with a tour of the FORECAST pilot experimental site, where participants were introduced to the growth progress of Trigonella foenum-graecum.
