FORECAST Lectures: sharing multi-disciplinary knowledge and innovation within and outside the Consortium

The first seminar of the online FORECAST LECTURES Cycle took place on May 26th 2026, given by Anca Macovei (UNIPV). The title of the seminar was: Seed quality and priming approaches in the agroforestry context. Talking about basic seed biology and the molecular mechanisms underlying the seed repair response, how such players are so crucial for climate resilient seeds, and how they can become powerful indicators for seed technologists who work at novel optimised seed priming protocols. Highlighting the role of high-quality seed for the transition towards sustainable agroforestry systems. The audience gathered people from the Consortium Teams, including many young researchers.
