On December 5, 2025, Dr. Laura Rosso and Dr. Sara Bergante visited a farm that cultivates, among other crops including poplar, an ancient local variety of bean: the Fagiolo di Saluggia (dwarf borlotti bean). The visit was carried out within the activities foreseen by FORECAST, with the aim of gaining knowledge of the local value chain, understanding the market situation of this product, documenting cultivation and harvesting techniques, and engaging potential stakeholders interested in the project.
