FORECAST at the Researchers’ Night of the University of Pavia
The UNIPV Partner has participated to the Researchers’ Night event at the University of Pavia on September 25th 2026. A Team of enthusiastic and highly motivated young researchers and PhD Students from the Seed Molecular Physiology Lab and the Plant Biotechnology Lab (Dept. Biology and Biotechnology) has set a stand dedicated to the issues of seed quality in the context of Climate Change, with a particular focus on children.

FORECAST has faced extreme climate in Algeria
The UC1 team has reported that, on 20th July 2026, a major forest fire occurred in the area where the FORECAST experimental plot was located. The fire severely affected the study area and resulted in the destruction of almost all the existing vegetation, including the olive trees and other plant components that were part of the experimental field.
